But what impressed me most, besides seeing my pal, Sterling Campbell on drums was guitarist Earl Slick. I was mesmerised by his playing, above all his tone and his feel, all with the minimum of effects pedals. And I gushed about it to pals for days after.<br \/>\nSo, imagine how excited I was when that very same week and by complete coincidence I was asked if I would join his band for a tour of the UK and Japan. I was made up. And it reminded me that this is exactly why I do what I do.<\/p>\n<p>For the tour I will be on sax, percussion, guitar, backing vocals and musical director (MD) duties.<br \/>\nNo pressure there then!<\/p>\n<p>Also <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DavidBowieReal\/status\/705585592818647040\" target=\"_blank\">DAVID BOWIE OFFICAL TWITTER<\/a> announced it today.
