Interview with Liz Kershaw @BBC6Music Saturday 16th Jan 2pm

Posted on Posted in NEWS, TV & RADIO

I’ll be chatting with the lovely Liz Kershaw on BBC6 Music tomorrow from 2pm. It was going to be just us, two Bowie fans chatting excitedly about Bowie’s Blackstar album. Sadly, we will now be remembering the great man and talking about his legacy. It’s gonna be a toughie.

Heard the interview with your good-self and Rusty Egan on Liz Kershaw's show this afternoon. Was privileged to hear both your memories and views on the passing of The Starman. Such wonderful memories for you - to tell your grandchildren! - irreplaceable. Interesting you found 'I can't give everything away' as a good track to run to, it was my favourite. I agree, but my initial thought was the title was a hint from Bowie, that he still had other secrets - like not wanting to give away more personal information. But who knows more may emerge as the months go on. What other hidden gems has he left behind? Did you think the track was reminiscent of another tune? It's probably another Bowie track, but I get the feeling Tony has recorded something along those lines. What do you think?

I think we all feel the same about the loss of David Bowie. Not often that happens in the world these days. Have just joined your blog Steve. Massive fan (as I am sure everyone says) of Spandau and yourself since the 1980's. We own a winery here in the Barossa Valley so if you ever need a bottle or two just let us know here at Ballycroft VIneyard and Cellars. xx Sue
